Billy
Billy's mum: In the last 6 months he's come so far in terms of his mental health and this has translated into an increase in confidence in all aspects of his life. Your guidance has been crucial in relation to his English work and we all thank you for that.
Billy: I did want extra lessons but felt unsure and nervous. Lessons with Hannah helped me understand the exams better and improve my grades. I felt loads more confident for the exams.
Me: Billy got 3s in his mocks at the end of Y10. He went from zero confidence to making regular contributions in lessons which supported other students too! I was blown away by the progress he made. He was getting 6s in his final mocks. I am really proud of him.

Eva
Eva's mum: Eva’s mock results were amazing! She’s come on so much since the summer with your tuition. Your support is making such a difference.
Eva: The best things about online lessons were the convenience and working in a small group. Listening to others thoughts and ideas was helpful as I could build on my own ideas.
Tutoring made me loads more confident for the exams. Hannah's tutoring was great and improved my mock grades from 5,5 to 7,8.
Me: Eva was already doing well in English but wanted to learn some strategies to help her access higher grades. She came to my online group for students aiming for grades 7-9. She worked incredibly hard, attended Easter masterclasses and responded to feedback thoughtfully.

Emilia
Emilia's dad: Emilia was happy with the small group size and the opportunity to get better feedback than she was getting from her school teacher. We think that she coped a lot better during the approach to the exam and was much more confident that she was prepared Her stress levels were previously extremely high. Tuition with Hannah had such a big effect on her mental state during revision. Obviously this means that it also had a positive effect on her revision for the other subjects too.
Me: Emilia is a very academic student who wanted a top grade for English. I focused on giving her tips on how to think like an examiner and personalised feedback to her written work. I am so please I helped reduce her stress and improve her confidence!

Noah
Noah's dad: Noah was very successful in maths and science and has aspirations to go on and study medicine. English was an obvious weakness on his school report. Feedback from Noah about Hannah’s sessions were so positive and English went from being a weakness to a strength. We couldn’t have asked for more. Hannah was amazing and transformed Noah’s progress.
Me: Noah was naturally able in English, he just needed the strategies to access the higher grades. I focused on giving him frameworks for how to answer each question which we practiced and frequent exposure to example full marks answers. I am very confident he will achieve a grade which reflects his ability.

Laurie
Laurie's mum: Hannah gave Laurie such self confidence and helped him enjoy what remained of his English A level and we’re all incredibly grateful for that. Teaching is definitely a gift and Hannah seems to have it in spadefuls!
Me: Laurie came to me half way through Y13 when he had well and truely fallen out of love with English and was feeling very despondant. He had excellent knowledge of his texts and so we focused on how to structure his essays for the different types of questions. By the final exams he had planned and written excellent essays and felt really prepared for his exam paper.
