I offer very small group sessions, in person and online. It is perfectly possible to give the personalised support a student needs in a group of this size. Tasks are scaffolded to enable all to succeed with appropriate challenge to ensure progress.

Most students like to have a 1:1 before joining a group so I can talk to them about what they would like most support with and they can check they like the style of a lesson. I do offer 1:1s but have limited availability.

Studying English with other students can be more successful as they  benefit from hearing the ideas or interpretations of others. This often leads to students producing more thoughtful or perceptive analysis.
